Illustration of The Isle of Man Adventure - June 2026

The Railway Touring Company's Isle of Man Adventure is a 7-day escorted holiday based in Douglas for all six nights. The trip combines First Class rail travel from London Euston to Heysham, a ferry crossing to the island, and four days of charter trips on heritage railways: the Manx Electric Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway, Groudle Glen Steam Railway (narrow-gauge, 610mm), and Isle of Man Railway. You will visit the Great Laxey Wheel, the largest working waterwheel in the world built in 1854, ride to the summit of Snaefell mountain, and travel by coach along the scenic Isle of Man TT course. A Tour Manager accompanies the group throughout. Half board accommodation at a 3-star hotel, all train and coach travel, heritage site visits, and a complimentary heritage pass for exploring freely on Day 5 are included. The pace is relaxed, with most days centred on railway experiences and island history.
