Titan Travel's 11-day Norway Winter Wonderland combines two distinct travel experiences into a single Arctic adventure. Depart from the UK with a Titan tour manager by your side throughout, starting in Oslo with a guided city tour and visit to the Fram Museum, home to the world's strongest wooden polar ship. On Day 3, board the Bergensbanen, Northern Europe's highest railway, for a seven-hour journey through snow-covered mountains, icy fjords, and remote alpine villages, crossing the Hardangervidda plateau at 1,222 metres. After a night in Bergen, embark on the Havila Capella, an eco-friendly hybrid cruise ship, for six nights sailing north along Norway's coastline. Cross the Arctic Circle with a traditional ceremony on board, visit the Lofoten Islands where the Northern Lights are visible, and reach mainland Europe's northernmost point near the North Cape. The journey concludes at the Kirkenes Snowhotel, where you will meet huskies and reindeer before returning home. The tour suits escorted travellers seeking winter scenery, Arctic exploration, and guided comfort without demanding physical exertion.

What to know before you look closer

  • The from-price covers the package; international flights are based on Scandinavian Airlines from London Heathrow and must be confirmed for availability and cost
  • Only 15 percent of the 11 days involve train travel; the majority is spent on the cruise ship
  • Northern Lights visibility is never guaranteed, even in Arctic locations during winter
