Bergen to Oslo escorted rail tour on six named Norwegian railways
Regent Holidays · Tailor-made
Nine-day Norway rail and sail from Oslo through fjords to Flåm

Regent Holidays' nine-day Scenic Fjords via Rail and Sail combines train journeys, coastal sailing, and city exploration across Norway. You fly into Oslo, spend three nights exploring the capital, then board the Dovre Railway for the journey north to Trondheim, passing through the Gudbransdalen valley and the Dovrefjell mountain plateau. From Trondheim, you sail the Norwegian coast aboard Havila Voyages, with the option to drive the Atlantic Ocean Road before re-embarking in Molde, arriving in Bergen on Day 6. The final leg moves you from Bergen to Flåm by train and coach, then through the UNESCO Nærøyfjord by boat. On Day 8, you take the world-famous Flåmsbana Railway to Myrdal and the Bergen Line back to Oslo for your return flight. This package is unescorted, offering independence to explore Oslo and Trondheim at your own pace, while handling all transport bookings and accommodation. It suits travellers new to rail journeys as well as experienced rail enthusiasts seeking a combination of train and ship travel.
Upon arrival into Oslo Airport take the airport express train to the city centre and continue to the hotel to check in for a two-night stay. The remainder of the day is free at leisure.
