Day by day

  1. Day 1overnight: Oslo

    Oslo

    Flight from the UK to Oslo. Make your way to your hotel and settle in for the night, with time for a short stroll, perhaps along the Aker Brygge waterfront or a visit to the Oslo Opera House.

  2. Day 2railovernight: Flåm

    Flåm

    Board the scenic Bergen Railway from Oslo. On arrival at Myrdal, change to the Flåm Railway, descending through fjord landscapes to the village of Flåm. Rest of the day free at the Aurlandsfjord.

  3. Day 3railovernight: Bergen

    Bergen

    Cruise through the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord from Flåm to Gudvangen, continue by bus through the Nærøydalen valley, then train from Voss to Bergen.

  4. Day 4overnight: Ålesund

    Alesund

    Scenic coastal cruise from Bergen to Måløy, passing rugged shorelines and fishing villages. Continue by bus through Nordfjordeid to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund.

  5. Day 5overnight: Geiranger

    Geiranger

    Fjord cruise from Ålesund to Geiranger through the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, passing the Seven Sisters and Suitor waterfalls. Time to relax in the village of Geiranger.

  6. Day 6overnight: Andalsnes

    Andalsnes

    Bus tour from Geiranger to Åndalsnes via the Eagle Road and the Trollstigen pass, with panoramic views of the Geirangerfjord.

  7. Day 7railovernight: Oslo

    Oslo

    Journey from Åndalsnes back to Oslo: board the Rauma Railway to Dombås, then connect to the Dovre Railway through mountain plateaus, forests and river valleys to Oslo.

  8. Day 8

    Return home
