Arrival in Switzerland - Transfer to Interlaken
Upon arrival at Zurich Airport you proceed right away to Interlaken by train (2 hours). Time at leisure.
- Day 2overnight: Interlaken
Panorama Bridge Sigriswil
Take the bus to Sigriswil (1 hour), where you walk across the 340 meter long suspension bridge offering views of the Bernese Oberland and Lake Thun - the bridge where Jeong-hyeok and Se-ri's paths crossed. Afternoon options for paragliding, canyoning, or a nearby castle visit.
- Day 3overnight: Interlaken
Cruise on Lake Brienz - Iseltwald lake landing
Make your way to Iseltwald and its lake landing, then by boat to the Grandhotel Giessbach - visit the Giessbach waterfalls and have lunch at the historic hotel. Cruise on Lake Brienz. Option to visit the Wood Carving Village in Brienz or the open-air museum Ballenberg.
- Day 4railovernight: Interlaken
Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe
Train to Jungfraujoch via Kleine Scheidegg. Continue to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, the highest train station in Europe (3,454 m); the Sphinx Observatory is the movie scene building. Option to visit the Ice Palace. Return by Eiger Express cable car to Grindelwald Terminal.
- Day 5railovernight: Zurich
Lake Lungern - Zurich
Luggage is transported to Zurich. Train to Lungern; stroll along picturesque Lake Lungern (where Jeong-hyeok and Se-ri supposedly lived). Continue by rail to Zurich with a change of trains in Lucerne, with option to stop over in Lucerne's old town.
- Day 6overnight: Zurich
Zurich Old Town - Bahnhofstrasse - Lindt Home of Chocolate
Explore Zurich's old town, Munsterbrucke bridge and Lindenhof. Shopping on Bahnhofstrasse. Possible afternoon visit to the Lindt Home of Chocolate in Kilchberg.
- Day 7overnight: Zurich
Pilatus Golden Round Trip
Possible day trip to Mt Pilatus near Lucerne for the Golden Round Trip.
- Day 8rail
Departure
Possible cruise on Lake Zurich and visit to Rapperswil (Town of Roses) if flight time allows, then make your own way by train to Zurich Airport.
