A 6-night, 7-day journey from Delhi to Mumbai aboard Maharajas' Express via Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Day by day

  1. Day 1railovernight: Agra

    Delhi - Agra (Sunday)

    Welcome ceremony and check-in at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station; train proceeds to Agra; visit the Taj Mahal; dinner on board, overnight at Agra.

  2. Day 2railovernight: Onboard, en route to Jaipur

    Agra - Ranthambore (Monday)

    Visit the Agra Fort; train proceeds to Ranthambore for a game drive at Ranthambore National Park; train proceeds to Jaipur.

  3. Day 3railovernight: Onboard, en route to Bikaner

    Jaipur (Tuesday)

    Visit the Amber Fort; dinner at Hotel Rambagh Palace; train proceeds to Bikaner.

  4. Day 4railovernight: Onboard, en route to Jodhpur

    Bikaner (Wednesday)

    Visit the Junagarh Fort followed by sundowners, cocktails and folk dances at the Sand Dunes; train leaves for Jodhpur.

  5. Day 5railovernight: Onboard, en route to Udaipur

    Jodhpur (Thursday)

    Visit the Mehrangarh Fort followed by a Tuk-Tuk ride and walking tour of the Old Clock Tower market; cocktail dinner at Khaas Bagh, a heritage hotel; train proceeds to Udaipur.

  6. Day 6railovernight: Onboard, en route to Mumbai

    Udaipur (Friday)

    Boat ride on Lake Pichola followed by a visit to City Palace and Crystal Gallery; lunch at Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace; 'Indian evening' with dinner on board; train proceeds to Mumbai.

  7. Day 7rail

    Mumbai (disembark) (Saturday)

    Breakfast and lunch on board; train arrives into Mumbai (CSMT); disembark and bid farewell to Maharajas' Express as the journey ends.
