Maharajas' Express

Seven-day luxury train journey across India from Mumbai to Delhi

Illustration of Maharajas' Express

The Maharajas' Express, operated by Luxury Train Club, is a seven-night all-inclusive luxury train journey across India designed to recreate the elegance of 19th century maharaja travel. The train departs Mumbai and arrives in Delhi, stopping at eight destinations including Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park, and Agra. Passengers occupy suites with panoramic windows aboard a train designed with pneumatic and hydraulic suspension for a smooth ride. Days blend on-board dining and relaxation with guided off-train excursions: morning palace tours, walking through historic markets, wildlife safaris, and visits to monuments such as Mehrangarh Fort and the Taj Mahal. A champagne breakfast overlooking the Taj Mahal and camel cart rides across Bikaner's sand dunes are among the highlights. Local English-speaking guides accompany all activities. Full board, entrance fees, tours, and 24-hour cabin valet service are included. This trip suits luxury-seeking repeat rail travellers, history lovers, and those who prefer guided comfort over independent exploration.
