Railbookers runs this 7-day, 6-night independent rail vacation from Munich through Salzburg to Venice, with two nights booked in each city. Munich starts with a small group walking tour of the Glockenspiel, Frauenkirche Cathedral, and the Opera House, before the train continues to Salzburg for two nights that include a half-day guided day trip to the UNESCO-listed lakeside village of Hallstatt. The onward train to Venice crosses the Arlberg Pass through the Austrian Alps, arriving at a hotel for two final nights in the canal city, where a small group tour visits the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Basilica. Travel between the three cities is independent, so beyond these included tours, travelers plan their own days. A private transfer to Venice Airport is included at the end.
