    Mumbai

    Assemble and complete registration at The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, Mumbai. Proceed to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Terminus, where you are greeted with a welcome drink and a Police Band as you board the Maharajas' Express. The train departs Mumbai at approximately 11:30 hrs, travelling through the land of the Marathas to Udaipur.

    Udaipur

    Arrive into Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Disembark for a boat ride on Lake Pichola, then visit the City Palace (the largest palace complex in Rajasthan), including Mor Chowk, Moti Mahal, Chini Mahal, Zenana Mahal and the Crystal Gallery. Return to the train for lunch, with optional spa or local city tour in the afternoon. Proceed for dinner at the Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace. The train continues overnight to Jodhpur.

After lunch, visit Mehrangarh Fort, followed by a Tuk Tuk ride and walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market. Enjoy a cocktail evening of Marwar culinary delights at an exclusive venue.     Early morning game drive safari at Ranthambore National Park (declared a National Park in 1973), known for tiger, sambar, chital, nilgai and leopard sightings. Return to the train for breakfast as it continues to the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. Disembark for a tour of the site, then return to the train for an 'Indian Evening' and dinner.

  7. Day 7rail

    Agra-Delhi

    Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for Mumtaz Mahal, followed by a Champagne Breakfast atop Taj Khema overlooking the monument. Return to the train as it proceeds to Delhi. Lunch onboard. The journey ends at approximately 15:30 hrs on arrival at Delhi Safdarjung Station.
