- Day 1
London to Delhi
Fly overnight from the UK to Delhi.
- Day 2overnight: The Taj Mahal Hotel, Delhi
Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you'll be met by your TransIndus representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of your day will be at leisure to recover from the international flight and in the evening our representative will escort you for a welcome meal at a local restaurant and introduce you to some of the sites of the metropolis. Highlights include the Jama Masjid and views over the Red Fort.
- Day 3railovernight: Aboard the Maharajas' Express
Agra
Following a leisurely breakfast you will be escorted to New Delhi Railway Station to board the Maharajas' Express for the start of your luxurious adventure. You settle into your cabin before a light lunch ahead of arrival in Agra for an escorted visit to Agra Fort and the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, taking in the Taj Mahal. In the evening you are invited for drinks by the Train Manager and crew before dinner.
- Day 4railovernight: Aboard the Maharajas' Express
Ranthambore National Park
Early morning your butler wakes you with tea and toast before you visit the Taj Mahal, hopefully at sunrise. You return to the train for breakfast as it proceeds to Sawai Madhopur, Ranthambore, where you head out on a wildlife safari in search of tiger, escorted by a local naturalist. You return to the train at sunset for dinner and drinks onboard as the train proceeds to Jaipur.
- Day 5railovernight: Aboard the Maharajas' Express
Jaipur
As you breakfast, the train pulls into the 'Pink City' of Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. You visit Amber Fort and undertake a tour of the city's principal sites including the City Palace complex and Hawa Mahal, returning to the train for a late lunch as it heads for the Thar desert. Dinner is on board the train.
- Day 6rail
Delhi
As you awake and enjoy breakfast, the train pulls into Delhi. A TransIndus representative will receive you on arrival. You will have a chauffeur driven car at your disposal to do some personal sightseeing and shopping through the day. After dinner at a city restaurant the car will drop you at the airport to board your return flight home.

London
Arrive back home in the UK.
