    (Sunday) Delhi Board Maharaja Express The Indian Splendour – Delhi and Agra

    Assemble at Delhi Safdarjung station around 0600 hours for registration and check-in with a welcome drink and instrumental music. The train departs Delhi at 0700 hours for Agra; breakfast and lunch on-board. Visit the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for Mumtaz Mahal. Optional activities include spa at a five-star hotel, the Mohabbat the Taj show, or a private car with guide.

  2. Day 2railovernight: Maharajas Express Train

    (Monday) Agra and Ranthambhore

    Early morning visit to Agra Fort. Breakfast on-board while travelling to Ranthambore; lunch on-board. Exciting game drive safari in Ranthambore National Park, famous for tiger sightings. Dinner on-board as the train proceeds to Jaipur.

  3. Day 3railovernight: Maharajas Express Train

    (Tuesday) Jaipur, Rajasthan

    Grand traditional welcome and visit to Amber Fort at 0800 hours (Sheesh Mahal, Hall of Victory). Return to the train for lunch, with optional spa, City Palace and Jantar Mantar visit, or private car with guide. Dinner at Rambagh Palace Hotel, returning to the station by 2100 hours for the onward journey to Bikaner.

  4. Day 4railovernight: Maharajas Express Train

    (Wednesday) Bikaner, Rajasthan

    Arrive into Bikaner; optional tour to Lalgarh Palace Museum. After lunch, visit Junagarh Fort (Diwan-i-Khas, Phool Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Badal Mahal, Anup Mahal), then a camel-cart convoy Sundowner on the Sand Dunes with cocktails, barbecue and folk dances (Langaas and Kalbeliyas). Return to the train by 2015 hours for the onward journey to Jodhpur.

  5. Day 5overnight: Maharajas Express Train

    (Thursday) Jodhpur, Rajasthan

    Morning at leisure on-board or optional tours (Bishnoi villages, spa, Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum and Jaswant Thada, or private car with guide). After lunch, visit Mehrangarh Fort followed by a Tuk Tuk walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market. Cocktail evening with Marwar culinary delights, then onward to Udaipur.

    (Friday) Udaipur, Rajasthan

    Arrive into Udaipur; disembark at 1000 hours for a boat ride on Lake Pichola, then visit the City Palace (Mor Chowk, Moti Mahal, Chini Mahal, Zenana Mahal), the Crystal Gallery and Darbar Hall. Lunch at the Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace. Relaxed afternoon on-board as the train proceeds to Mumbai, with an 'Indian evening' on-board.

    (Saturday) Mumbai (Train Disembark)

    Relaxed morning on-board. Disembark around 1635 hours at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai, bidding farewell to the Maharajas' Express.
