Illustration of Journey through the Clouds Classic - 5-nights

Journey through the Clouds Classic, operated by Rocky Mountaineer, is a 6-day, 5-night package that combines two days aboard one of North America's premier scenic trains with stays in three Canadian cities. The trip begins with two free days in Vancouver, where you can explore the coastal city at your own pace, visiting Stanley Park, Granville Island, or the Seawall. On Day 3, you board Rocky Mountaineer in SilverLeaf or GoldLeaf Service and travel east to Kamloops, passing Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Day 4 takes you deeper into the mountains as the train climbs through the Monashee and Cariboo ranges, offering views of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and the Yellowhead Pass before arriving in Jasper. Your final days include a half-day guided tour of Jasper National Park covering Patricia Lake, the Jasper SkyTram, and Pyramid Lake, plus free time to explore on your own. The pace is unhurried, with ample time for independent activities and two nights in each of the larger destinations.
