Four-day luxury train journey from Perth to Sydney across Australia

Illustration of Indian Pacific

Luxury Train Club's Indian Pacific carries passengers across Australia on a 4-day, 3-night rail journey from Perth to Sydney, or vice versa. The train departs Perth through the Avon Valley wheat belt, arriving at the gold rush town of Kalgoorlie before sunset. The second day unfolds across the Nullarbor Plain, where passengers witness sunrise over mallee scrub and the ghost town of Cook on the world's longest single stretch of straight railway. Day 3 brings early morning arrival in Adelaide with guided excursion choices, followed by travel to Broken Hill with more off-train options. The final morning wakes passengers in the Blue Mountains to see the Three Sisters rock formation and Jamison Valley before arrival in Sydney Central Station. Throughout the journey, on-board dining in the retro-Edwardian dining car with panoramic windows, all meals and premium beverages, and a personalised cabin steward (in Platinum Service) define the experience.
