7-day rail loop through Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur

Railbookers operates this 7-day, 6-night independent rail vacation on India's Golden Triangle route, starting and ending in Delhi with stops in Agra and Jaipur. The trip includes a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, a ride on the Gatimaan Express to Agra followed by a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal, and a UNESCO-listed Amber Fort in Jaipur reached by jeep. Along the drive between Agra and Jaipur, the trip stops at the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri and the 10th-century Chand Baori stepwell. An evening cooking demonstration and dinner with a local Indian family rounds out the Jaipur stay. Only the Delhi to Agra leg travels by train; the rest of the route is by road. With free evenings and optional add-on excursions along the way, the trip suits travelers who want to see the three best-known Golden Triangle cities in under a week.
