Board the Indian Pacific in Perth
Welcome gathering to celebrate the start of the transcontinental journey. Relaxed afternoon getting to know fellow travellers, with dinner served on board featuring contemporary Australian cuisine.
- Day 2railovernight: 2 nights Indian Pacific
Indian Pacific, Kalgoorlie and Cook
Sunrise over Kalgoorlie, Australia's largest outback town, with a choice of Off Train Experience including a visit to the Super Pit mine. Reboard for brunch and cross the Nullarbor Plain into South Australia, arriving late evening at the near-ghost town of Cook for a nightcap, bonfire and stargazing.

Indian Pacific, Adelaide
Morning travelling through the Flinders Ranges, Spencer Gulf and the Adelaide Plains, breakfast and lunch on board. Mid-afternoon arrival in Adelaide, transfer to accommodation for the next three nights.

Barossa Valley
Boutique wine and food touring to the historic Northern Barossa, including one of the world's oldest vineyards (Shiraz vines planted in 1843). Tastings at three wineries and a lunch with a glass of wine included; small groups of up to 8 people.
