In the morning, your guide will take you on a tour of the historic centre and its emblematic monuments. At the Hofburg Palace, you will visit the flats occupied by Empress Sissi and Emperor Franz Joseph. The day continues at another imperial residence, Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, the 'Heurigen', taverns in the wine-producing villages on the outskirts of Vienna, welcome you for a convivial meal. Only Vienna wine is served.

A guided cycle tour reveals other aspects of Vienna, including the banks of the Danube with their cycle paths, bars, restaurants and even beaches. Your group will also enjoy some free time for individual discoveries, such as the historic cafés with their characteristic atmosphere. Return in the evening by night train or overnight in a hotel in Vienna and return the next day by day train.
