Dinner served at the hotel.
A longer hike joining stage 16 of the Via Alpina to Gstaad, ascending to the Wallegg-Stube restaurant, over the tree line between the Wildstrubel and Wildhorn peaks, via the Trüttlisberg Pass (the stage's highest point) with views into the Turbach valley, before reaching Gstaad and returning to Lenk for dinner.
Board the Golden Pass train from nearby Zweisimmen to Montreux on Lake Geneva, then connect onto a Swiss Intercity to Geneva and a French regional train to Lyon, for a night at the Pullman Lyon (or similar).
A civilised late-morning train to Lille, bypassing Paris, then an afternoon Eurostar back to London.
