Which cabins are available?
Eight standard Suites of around 10 sq m each and two Deluxe Suites (A and B) are offered. Deluxe Suite A features a panoramic rear window across the carriage width. Deluxe Suite B is 17 sq m with flexible twin or double beds. All cabins have private bathrooms. Deluxe A and B are currently sold out; standard Suites are available.
Is there a ryokan stay?
Yes, on the Unzen Course (the base itinerary). One night is spent at Ryotei Hanzuiryo ryokan in Unzen. The Takachiho Course starts at GBP 17,990 and runs a different route.
How many passengers travel per departure?
Just 20 passengers per departure across 10 cabins, creating an intimate atmosphere.
