    Visit the Little Mermaid, go to one of the world's oldest theme parks, and sample fruity beers at plenty of microbreweries.

  3. Day 3overnight: Copenhagen

    Final day to explore the Danish capital's amazing architecture, friendly locals and jaw-droppingly beautiful nearby castles.

  4. Day 4overnight: Oslo

    Copenhagen / Oslo

    Coach to Oslo (8 hours). Oslo will take you by surprise; not a big city, but with exceptional museums and easy walking all around it into the overlooking hills.

  5. Day 5overnight: Oslo

    Oslo

    See excellently preserved Viking ships, understand Norway's heritage at the Folk Museum, and have a go at the ski jump overlooking the city, or see Edvard Munch's 'The Scream' at the National Gallery.

  6. Day 6overnight: Stockholm

    Oslo / Stockholm

    Coach to Stockholm (8 hours), described as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with calm waterways, colourful buildings and cobbled streets.

  7. Day 7overnight: Stockholm

    Stockholm

    Wander up the cobbled streets of the old town, admire the colourful skyline from a boat tour, and visit the ABBA museum.

  8. Day 8

    Stockholm

    Final day of the trip before heading home, or extending onward to Helsinki.
