Rocky Mountaineer & Alaska Cruise

Rocky Mountaineer rail plus seven-night Alaska Inside Passage cruise from Calgary

Illustration of Rocky Mountaineer & Alaska Cruise

Vacations By Rail combines two distinct travel modes on this 15-day escorted adventure: two days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train through the Canadian Rockies, followed by a seven-night cruise on the Celebrity Summit through Alaska's Inside Passage. The journey begins in Calgary, moves through Banff and Lake Louise with included excursions on Sulphur Mountain and to Emerald Lake, then boards the Rocky Mountaineer for daylight-only travel through the Spiral Tunnels and Kicking Horse Pass to Vancouver. From Vancouver, guests embark on a cruise that navigates the UNESCO-protected Inside Passage, passing Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, and Ketchikan. A Tour Manager accompanies the group throughout. The itinerary balances guided sightseeing, included meals and drinks, and free time to explore independently. This tour suits repeat rail travellers, couples seeking escorted comfort, and those interested in capturing dramatic mountain and glacier landscapes.
