Day by day

  1. Day 1overnight: Banff Caribou Lodge (3.5-star)

    UK - Calgary - Banff

    Our nationwide shared chauffeur service collects you from home for your flight to Calgary. On arrival, we'll transfer to the mountain town of Banff.

  2. Day 2overnight: Banff Caribou Lodge (3.5-star)

    Banff - Lake Louise

    Today we tour the outskirts of Banff and visit famous Lake Louise, Canada's best-known lake, renowned for its beautiful setting and magical view of the Victoria Glacier.

  3. Day 3overnight: Chateau Jasper (3-star)

    Columbia Icefield - Jasper

    The Icefields Parkway takes in over 140 miles of jagged mountain peaks, high forested valleys, emerald lakes and mountain-fed waterfalls. At the Columbia Icefield we take an Ice Explorer ride onto the surface of Athabasca Glacier (weather dependent), then continue into Jasper National Park.

  4. Day 4overnight: Chateau Jasper (3-star)

    Today we enjoy a journey to Maligne Lake, one of the most photographed spots in the world, with the possible opportunity for an optional cruise to Spirit Island (weather dependent). This evening, dinner with an interpretative talk.

  5. Day 5overnight: Hotel in Kamloops

    Rocky Mountaineer (Jasper - Kamloops)

    The first half of the journey on the famed Rocky Mountaineer, carving through the Canadian Rockies with panoramic domed windows. We stop overnight in historic Kamloops, the gateway to the Interior of British Columbia.

  6. Day 6overnight: Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront (4-star)

    Rocky Mountaineer (Kamloops - Vancouver)

    Our second day aboard Rocky Mountaineer, through the desert-like interior, winding river canyons and forests of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. This afternoon, we arrive in Vancouver.

  7. Day 7overnight: Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront (4-star)

    Vancouver

    A short orientation tour of Vancouver this morning, then free to explore at leisure, including Gastown and Chinatown.

  8. Day 8overnight: Chateau Victoria (4-star)

    Vancouver - Victoria

    We drive to Tsawwassen to take the ferry through the Gulf Islands region to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island, continuing to the world-famous Butchart Gardens, then on to Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia.

  9. Day 9overnight: Chateau Victoria (4-star)

    Victoria

    Free to explore Victoria and its many attractions, shops and colonial heritage.

  10. Day 10overnight: In flight

    Victoria - Vancouver - In flight

    We drive to Swartz Bay for the return ferry crossing to Tsawwassen. Possible time in Vancouver before transferring to the airport for your overnight return flight to the UK.

  11. Day 11

    UK

    Upon arrival, your vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
