5-day rail trip: Paris to medieval Bruges via Brussels

Railbookers runs Paris and Bruges, a 5-day, 4-night rail vacation between France and Belgium. Two nights in Paris open the trip, with a hop-on hop-off pass, skip-the-line access to the top of the Eiffel Tower, a scenic Seine river cruise, and skip-the-line tickets to the Louvre Museum, which is closed on Tuesdays. From Paris, the high-speed Thalys train runs to Brussels, connecting to a train on to Bruges, known as the 'Venice of the North' for its winding canals and cobbled streets. Two nights in Bruges follow, with a guided city tour of the medieval town's history and a boat trip along one of its canals, plus time to sample local bakeries and chocolate shops. The trip ends with a final train back to Brussels. It suits travelers drawn to a mix of Paris landmarks and Bruges' slower, canal-side pace, with guided highlights bundled into both cities.
