Self-guided Nice base trip with a train pass and Monaco tour

Illustration of Nice & the Highlights of the French Riviera

Authentic Europe operates this 5-day, 4-night self-guided trip based in Nice, on France's Côte d'Azur. After two days settling into Nice, a 1-day train pass covering the Alpes-Maritimes department lets travelers explore Antibes and Cannes independently on day three, followed by a full-day guided minivan excursion on day four to Monaco, Monte-Carlo, and Èze. All four nights are spent at the same hotel in Nice, with breakfast included each morning. Because the trip is self-guided apart from that one excursion, Authentic Europe provides electronic travel documentation and a 24/7 emergency phone line rather than a tour escort. Optional extras include a Provence day trip, a French cooking class, and a tour extension to Paris after the trip ends, and a Platinum tour category is available on request. This suits travelers who want a single base on the French Riviera, mixing independent train travel with one guided day out, rather than a moving multi-city itinerary.

Price history

Across 5 checks, this price has held at €395 every time.

Each point is a day we checked this operator's own page, not a weekly average, and the line holds flat between checks rather than guessing at movement we did not see. 2 of 5 points are a live read of the operator's page. Hollow points are values shown when the trip was first listed here and never confirmed with the operator.

One reading is held out of the price above and this history: an unconfirmed large change. We only price on the operator's package from-price, read from its own page.
