    Aurangabad - Ellora Caves

    Breakfast as the train enters Aurangabad; free morning or optional spa session; visit the UNESCO World Heritage Ellora Caves (34 rock-cut caves spanning Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism); visit Daulatabad Fort; dinner in the city.

  3. Day 3railovernight: Onboard Deccan Odyssey

    Aurangabad

    City tour of Aurangabad including Bibi-ka-Maqbara (the 'Taj of the Deccan') and a Himroo fabric weaving centre; cocktail/mocktail at the train's Mumbai-Hi lounge; dinner on board. Departure at 13:00.

  4. Day 4railovernight: Onboard, en route to Tadoba

    Ramtek (Pench National Park)

    Game drive inside Pench National Park and Tiger Reserve; brunch on board; sumptuous dinner and overnight stay as the train departs for Tadoba at 20:00.

  5. Day 5railovernight: Onboard, en route to Jalgaon

    Tadoba

    Train enters Chandrapur station; morning wildlife safari inside Tadoba National Park and Tiger Reserve; late breakfast at a wildlife resort; naturalist interaction; cocktails and dinner on board as the train departs for Jalgaon at 20:00.

  6. Day 6railovernight: Onboard, en route to Nashik

    Jalgaon (Ajanta Caves)

    Train enters Jalgaon station; visit the UNESCO World Heritage Ajanta Caves (30 rock-cut caves); lunch on board as the train proceeds to Nashik. Departure at 15:00.

  7. Day 7railovernight: Onboard, en route to Mumbai

    Nashik

    Leisure walk along the Ghats of the River Godavari; visit the local market; exclusive tour of a popular vineyard tasting Chenin, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties; train departs for Mumbai. Departure at 20:00.

  8. Day 8rail

    Mumbai

    Train enters Mumbai; check-out formalities; disembark from the Deccan Odyssey at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station.
