    Nashik

    Breakfast on board; walk through the Godavari Ghats; drive through the Grover Zampa vineyards to see wine-making with Chenin, Shiraz and Chardonnay grapes, with a tasting; lunch at the fields; train leaves for Aurangabad overnight.

  3. Day 3railovernight: Onboard, en route to Kolhapur

    Aurangabad - Ellora Caves

    Arrival at Jalgaon station; visit the UNESCO World Heritage Ellora Caves; lunch on board; train leaves for Kolhapur.

  4. Day 4railovernight: Onboard, en route to Kolhapur

    Ajanta Caves

    Breakfast on board at Jalgaon Station; guided visit to the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 30 rock-cut Buddhist caves; lunch on board as the train leaves for Kolhapur.

  5. Day 5railovernight: Onboard, en route to Goa

    Kolhapur

    City tour to the New Palace Museum, Darbar Hall and Town Hall Museum; local market visit for handcrafted chappals; tea and snacks; folk performance ('Lavanya Sandhya'); visit to the Mahalakshmi Temple; traditional martial arts performance ('Mardani Khel'); train departs for Goa.

  6. Day 6railovernight: Onboard, en route to Ratnagiri

    Goa

    Sightseeing to the Latin Quarters in Panjim (Fontainhas) and Ribandar; Sahakari spice plantation visit with a traditional Goan feast including seafood and Feni; train departs for Ratnagiri through the Konkan region.

  7. Day 7railovernight: Onboard, en route to Mumbai

    Ratnagiri

    Breakfast on board; explore the holy town of Sindhudurg; lunch on board followed by sightseeing; train heads to Mumbai overnight.

  8. Day 8rail

    Mumbai (Departure)

    Arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, Mumbai; breakfast on board; journey ends.
