    Settle into your hotel and explore London at leisure. Optional morning tour of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, a visit to St Paul's Cathedral, Windsor Castle or the Tower of London, and an optional Taste of London dinner with a Thames River cruise.

  2. Day 3overnight: York

    York (1 night)

    Depart for Oxford for a walking tour of its colleges, then travel through the Cotswold Hills to Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, seeing Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Arrive at York Minster and the narrow Shambles. Luxury coach to Newcastle.

  3. Day 4overnight: Newcastle

    Newcastle (1 night)

    Explore Newcastle's night scene before Hadrian's Wall and the wild Northumberland National Park, stopping for photos at Jedburgh en route to Edinburgh.

  4. Day 5overnight: Edinburgh

    Edinburgh (2 nights)

    Experience Edinburgh's 200-year-old New Town with a Local Guide, then visit Edinburgh Castle and Scotland's Crown Jewels in the Old Town. Optional excursion to Rosslyn Chapel, and an optional Scottish night out with Highland dancers and the Ceremony of the Haggis. Selected departures include tickets to the Military Tattoo.

  5. Day 7overnight: Wrexham

    Wrexham (1 night)

    Travel through the Lowland Hills to Gretna Green and the Lake District, then a walking tour of Chester's Roman remains and half-timbered buildings, before a scenic drive through Snowdonia National Park and across Britannia Bridge to the Isle of Anglesey.

  6. Day 8overnight: Dublin

    Dublin (2 nights)

    Ferry from Holyhead across the Irish Sea to Dublin. Orientation drive past O'Connell Street, Georgian squares and St Patrick's Cathedral, with an optional evening visit to the Guinness Storehouse. Onward to Galway, crossing The Burren to the Cliffs of Moher.

  7. Day 10overnight: Ennis

    Ennis (1 night)

    Photo stop in Adare, then drive the Ring of Kerry, a 100-mile coastal panorama with views of the Lakes of Killarney from Ladies View.

  8. Day 11overnight: Killarney

    Killarney (1 night)

    Cross the Kerry Mountains through County Cork to Blarney, home of the Stone of Eloquence, then on past Cork and Dungarvan to Tramore.

  9. Day 12overnight: Tramore

    Tramore (1 night)

    Ferry from Rosslare across St George's Channel to South Wales, then through dairy farmlands to Cardiff, with an orientation drive past Cardiff Castle, the Millennium Stadium and Cathays Park.

  10. Day 13overnight: Cardiff

    Cardiff (1 night)

    Cross into England via the Severn Bridge, stopping in Bath for its Roman relics before visiting Stonehenge.

  11. Day 14overnight: London

    London (1 night)

    The tour concludes with breakfast on the final day, reflecting on the trip with new friends.
