Railtrail Tours operates this 5-day, 4-night escorted tour based in Bedford, England, joining and leaving from your home station on the UK rail network. After the rail journey to Bedford on day 1, the group settles into the Bedford Centre Hotel for four nights and travels out each day by private coach to nearby historic sites. Day 2 combines the Military Intelligence Museum with the Shuttleworth Collection of restored historic aircraft and vehicles. Day 3 is spent at Bletchley Park, exploring the wartime codebreaking huts where Enigma messages were decrypted. Day 4 visits the Imperial War Museum Duxford, with a possible stop in Cambridge on the way back. An experienced Railtrail Tour Manager accompanies the group throughout, and breakfast and an evening meal are included each day.
