You'll touch down in Australia and arrive in Perth, where you'll be transferred to your chosen hotel. Enjoy a free day in Perth, known as the nature capital of Australia with long stretches of beach, beautiful parks, a thriving arts scene and a blossoming foodie community. Transfer from your hotel to the Indian Pacific Train. Everything is taken care of once you're onboard. As the landscape passes by your window, you can learn about the tailored off-train experiences that await at stops along the way. Enjoy fine dining made from locally sourced ingredients, plus fine wines and other drinks included in your onboard experience. Spend a relaxed afternoon getting to know your fellow travellers as the Indian Pacific pulls away from Perth, leaving the Indian Ocean behind and cruising toward the Pacific. Awake to see the sunrise unfold across Australia's largest outback town, Kalgoorlie. Visit the region's gold-rush era Super Pit mine. Choose your Off Train Experience in Kalgoorlie, including morning refreshments. Reboard the train mid-morning for brunch. Spend the remainder of the day on board enjoying the Nullarbor Plain. Cross borders and time zones into South Australia. Late evening, the train pulls into the almost-ghost-town of Cook for a nightcap, late-night bonfire and stargazing experience.

Spend the morning travelling through the pastoral lands of remote South Australia as the Indian Pacific cruises past the Flinders Rangers, Spencer Gulf and the Adelaide Plains. Breakfast and lunch served on board. Mid-afternoon, disembark at Two Wells and transfer by coach to the Barossa Valley. Spend the evening at Seppeltsfield Winery with a signature dining experience in the vintage cellar, including a 'Firing of the Barrel' display and a food and wine pairing curated by Executive Chef Owen Andrews. Platinum guests enjoy a special 100-year-old wine tasting experience. Return to the Indian Pacific after dinner.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before a choice of four Off Train Experiences including guided history, art and cultural experiences showcasing Australia's first heritage-listed city. Return to the train for lunch. Admire the scenery as the Indian Pacific travels through regional New South Wales. Dinner served on board on your final night exploring Australia by train.

The Blue Mountains is known for its soaring sandstone ridges wrapped in native flora. Say goodbye to the Indian Pacific after breakfast to travel deep into the mountains for Off Train Experiences. Scenic World includes four mountain experiences: the Scenic Skyway, Scenic Cableway, Scenic Railway (the steepest passenger railway in the world), or a guided walk with spectacular views. Both experiences end at Echo Point Lookout in Katoomba, where a light lunch is served. Complete your journey on a chartered New South Wales rail service into Sydney Central Station. Alternatively, stay on board the Indian Pacific to travel directly to Sydney Central Station, arriving before lunch. Transfer to your hotel on arrival.
