Board The Ghan Expedition in Darwin
Welcome drink and photo with The Ghan's locomotive before boarding. Chef-prepared lunch on board, then an Off Train Experience in Katherine: choose a Nitmiluk Gorge cruise, the Katherine Outback Experience, or the Cutta Cutta Caves (helicopter flight upgrade available over Nitmiluk).

The Ghan Expedition, Alice Springs
Breakfast on board before a choice of Off Train Experiences in Alice Springs: e-bike adventure, A Town Called Alice tour, Standley Chasm and Simpsons Gap, Alice Springs Desert Park, or a scenic flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Evening dinner under the stars at the historic Alice Springs Telegraph Station.
- Day 3railovernight: The Ghan Expedition
The Ghan Expedition, Coober Pedy
Sunrise stop at Manguri, then a day exploring Coober Pedy including a gourmet lunch served underground. Off Train Experiences include the Breakaways or the Opal Experience, with an optional scenic flight over the Painted Hills and Lake Eyre. Dinner served on board for the final night.

The Ghan Expedition, Adelaide
Leisurely brunch as the train passes through the Flinders Ranges before arriving in Adelaide. Transfer to accommodation with the afternoon free to explore the city centre, including the Adelaide Central Markets and the Art Gallery of South Australia.

Farewell
Breakfast, then check out of accommodation, bringing the one-night Adelaide city stay to an end.
