2 Day Rail, Vancouver - Banff
Two-day daylight glass-dome train journey, Vancouver to Banff via Kamloops
Rocky Mountaineer · Rail vacation package

Relax and join us onboard Rocky Mountaineer for two days of all-daylight rail travel through Canada's West and the Canadian Rockies.
Depart early morning aboard Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops in the British Columbia Interior. Scenery changes from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like landscapes of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. The train arrives along the shores of Kamloops Lake in the evening.
Continue eastward to the mighty Canadian Rockies, across ranchlands, rocky lakeshores, high mountain passes and historic rail tunnels. Highlights include Craigellachie (where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven), the climb over Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon and the Spiral Tunnels. The rail journey ends this evening in Lake Louise.
